Bournemouth maintenance firm embarks on final phase to revamp industrial units

Drewsons Building Maintenance, part of the Bournemouth-based Drewitt Group has started the final phase of major refurbishment works at Drewitt Industrial Estate, Ringwood Road.

Managed by the Drewitt Group, the Drewitt Industrial Estate was established in the late 1950’s and to ensure units remain functional, the Drewitt Group has worked in conjunction with T.A.Colbourne to project manage the refurbishment of the 3300 square foot building which houses firms B&D Flooring and Southern Chasing. 
The works include replacing the old corrugated asbestos cement roof with a profiled steel fully-insulated roof as well as installing wall cladding to construct a new attractive building shell.  The works also include the installation of a new roller shutter door and personnel door.

Gillian Drewitt, managing director of The Drewitt Group, said: “This refurbishment is part of our on-going commitment to invest in our industrial estate which accommodates over 20 different businesses.
